1820's Farmhouse for Sale - Lake Champlain Islands
31 Faywood Rd
Grand Isle VT 05458
3 1/2 bath
This is the home you've been waiting for. The perfect farmstead, with over 9 acres and secluded privacy, on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain with all-year accessibility. Enjoy your morning walks to the lake while also stopping for fresh veggies at local farmstands along the way. This 1820's farmhouse has been lovingly restored with an accent on artsy and eclectic while maintaining it's history and charm. Hand tiled mosaic showers and flooring in the bathroom add a one-of-a-kind experience to your daily endeavors, as well as the whimsical and artistic touches in the kitchen. The current owner is a professional chef and renovated the kitchen for utmost ease while cooking a family meal, and also catering food for hundreds. A plethora of covered porches give you ample opportunity to find a shady spot from the sun in the summer, and two wood stoves add to the warm ambiance in the winter. Tap the maples on the property in the Spring and make your own maple syrup. Enjoy gardening veggies from the raised beds and fruit from the orchard, or start your own farm. The 1500 square foot barn could be perfect as a horse stable, with 9 acres of pastures for your equine needs.
The land is zoned as residential and/or agricultural - meaning, the limitations of city life do not apply here. There is both a well, currently used for outdoor irrigation, and town water used for residential usage. The mother-in-law apartment is an additional bonus to this already perfect property.
The big town of Burlington, along with all it's amenities and stores, is only a short 30 minute drive South. "European" city life is also just north, with Montreal being a bit over an hour drive. Lake Champlain is a short walk in 3 directions from the front door. The property is wonderfully situated to be a self-sufficient farmstead but within a short distance to your every city need.
In this intimate setting of 10 women or less, on this beautiful and serene property of the 1820's farmhouse at Faywood Gardens, we will empower eachother to rise up and shine into our most authentic selves.
Some specifics that are focused on during the workshop:
- pinpointing and challenging old belief systems
- confronting fear and transforming it into motivation
- self care and love
- mindfulness of thought patterns
- letting go of attachments
- how to ask for help
- you are not your story
- personal affirmations
This intimate setting allows for a feeling of community and safety among like-minded participants, and allows a safety zone for vulnerability and emotions.
We will work on physical movement, journaling, and visualization as mediums to connect with and rise above old thought patterns that may be holding us back. Let's support each other into stepping into our power and taking back our lives again! Turn those dreams into a reality, goddesses!
