Join Chef Lisa Ruoff for an evening of fun and food in our renovated historic farmhouse kitchen! Our cooking classes are a great combination of learning about both culinary skills and the benefits of organic foods, hands-on preparation of one-of-a-kind recipes, and the enjoyment of a well earned meal. 
We have space for up to 10 people in our classes. Please reserve your space within 4 days of class. and let us know if you have any FOOD ALLERGIES please!

We can also schedule a private class if you would like to hold a class for your own group of friends/family. Pick a night that works for you, and we'll even make a specialized menu to suit your taste! It is also possible for Chef Lisa to come to you. Just give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate your culinary needs.

Spectacular Sauces

A myriad of savory and sweet sauces tasted throughout class with seared chicken and shrimp skewers for dipping - sauces vary by season, focused on Reductions (wines, juices) / Demi Glaze / Savory Glazes / Buerre Blanc / Thai Peanut Sauce / Sweet Wine Reductions.

Salad Lyonnaise / Seafood Bouillabaisse with a French Onion Tart / Claufoutis. 6pm - 9pm

Both sweet and savory tarts made with seasonal ingredients - Savory Tart with caramelized onion, bacon, and local cheeses / Mini Pot Pie tarts / Lemon Cream Tart / Linzer Torte / Chocolate Nut Caramel Torte. 11am - 2pm

Kid's Baking Class

Open to kids over 6 yrs old and the parents who would like to join them. We'll be making an assortment of cakes with filling and icing, as well as cupcakes. The class will finish with the tasting of our hard earned treats and participants will go home with recipes 11am - 1pm

Pasta Workshop - Kid Friendly

Come learn how to make pasta from scratch! This is a kid friendly, hands-on workshop. We will make pasta from scratch - linguini and ravioli - along with a few basic sauces to enjoy it with.

Island Arts Demonstration

We will go over a few summer salad recipes made with local ingredients, as well as how to make your own homemade dressings. This is a demonstration class, and not specifically hands-on. All participants will get tastings of all salads demonstrated, as well as recipes to take home with them. 1pm - 2:30pm
